Starting with version 0.14.0, motionmaxxing has transitioned to a proprietary license for all new releases, while versions 0.12.x and earlier remain under the original MIT license. The project has also moved to a closed-source model, now distributing binaries via Homebrew. Users can update via the studio's built-in update card or by running brew upgrade motionmaxxing.
