Live progress dashboard for Claude Code: % done, step table, ETA and recent activity, right in the terminal
The progress-board ETA now correctly counts down while a step is in progress instead of inaccurately growing. If the task exceeds its estimate, it now explicitly labels the status as "running over". This update also includes technical fixes for test type errors to improve development reliability.
This update introduces a comprehensive status HUD that displays session information directly in the terminal, including active model, git branch, session duration, cost, context usage, and active agents or tasks. The HUD effectively replaces the need for the previous status line and removes the now redundant 'Hide' button from the progress bar.
This update moves the progress bar from above the prompt to below it, ensuring it stays visible without interfering with the prompt itself. Additionally, it introduces 'Mission Control', accessible via a new Sessions button or the /sessions command, which lists all open Claude Code sessions and their current status on your machine.
This update introduces a redesigned dashboard panel featuring a vertical stepper timeline, live tracking of the current action (like editing or running commands) within the active step, and a streamlined feed of the three most recent events. The interface is now more compact and provides better insight into what Claude is working on in real-time.
This update optimizes the UI layout for the progress board plugin by preventing long text in 'Recent times' and table columns from wrapping, ensuring a cleaner display. Additionally, new screenshots have been added to the README to better showcase the plugin's features.
The new Progress Board plugin provides a live dashboard directly within the Claude Code terminal, replacing constant status inquiries with a unified view of task progress, step-by-step breakdown, and recent activity. It includes an automated progress bar, ETA, and activity feed that updates as Claude works, making it significantly easier to monitor long-running tasks at a glance.
